So many animals are dying a year because of plastic bags. If you think about it, you have probably killed over 100 animals by just using and not recycling plastic bags. Plastic bags are a hazard to everyone and everything. To help we could recycle then, ban them, reuse them over, and over, or the best solution is to just use clothe bags. If we do all those things we could save many animals from suffering and dying from them. It would also help out ecosystem because with plastic bags they use 12 million barrels of polyethylene in the U.S. To make plastic bags. If we banned plastic bags we wouldn't have all that oil. Most of the time the oil and plastic bags get into the ocean. Plastic bags have killed over 267 marine species. Even paper bags are bad too. People chop down approximately 14 million trees a year to produce paper bags. Americans produce more than 10 billion paper bags per year, can u imagine how Comm No. •73 Ref. To: 2/15/2011 Ref.
