Dear County Council Members,
I believe that the high amount of plastic that we are using in Hawai'i is atrocious. We
are using it every where, from the cup that I drink to the keys from which I typed this letter. We
as guests in this land our Amakuas left for us, makes it is responsibility to keep the Aina clean
from our opala. We as people and Islanders must try our best to keep our land clean from
pollution. This land is sacred why destroy it, are we really so dependent that we put our milk in
a plastic bag the Hawaiians walked miles and we walk feet. I believe we are going to need to try
our best to save our Kanu o'ka aina.
