I am a student in 7 th grade at Parker Middle School and I think that the use of plastic bags should
be reduced. One of the many reasons is because that they are polluting the island especially when
people just throw them out and don't care about the giant impact that they are making. Plastic bags stay
in landfills for years and years. Some plastic bags that were there before I was born are still there. Even
though it's no hassle to just through them out, the waste they produce is tremendous.
