Plastic bags are a big problem in our ecosystem here on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Whether it is charging to use them, cutting back on the amount of them, or even banning them
completely. These bags are choking our turtles that have been on our planet since dinosaur times,
and also ruining our oceans. Not to mention all of the bad things that they do to our land
environment such as air pollution. Also the BPAs in the plastic is horrible for our health,
especially young children and babies. Instead of plastic we could use more reusable cloth bags.
This is my opinion on the bags that are killing our environment.
