Please pass it. The council member who spoke about washing bags and hygiene should know that recycled plastic bags are much more dangerous to our and other animal's future especially our abundant sealife than the incidence of problems from not washing bags before reuse. I even put my food in recycled walmart bags, etc, without washing them. I have been recycling bags for decades and only wash them if there is residue or food matter to clean off. Yes, using common sense about raw meat and fish should prevail. Sincerely, Susan Laughlin Comm. No. to Ref. To: FreseWed M tk 1 2/28/2011 ref. Mote MAR 0 2 2NI
