Re: Resolution Requesting Adoption and Support of the 2010 County of Hawaii
Agriculture Development Plan
Dear Chairman Yoshimoto:
Enclosed please find a resolution requesting the County Council to adopt and support
the 2010 County of Hawaii Agriculture Development Plan for hearing consideration in
your Committee on Agriculture, Water and Energy Sustainability. Also enclosed are ten
(10) copies of the plan.
The 2010 County of Hawaii Agriculture Development Plan, which was designed to
gather maximum input from both the agriculture industry and the community,
incorporates relevant agricultural policies and recommended actions that can be
accomplished by the County government, either through direct implementation or
advocacy.
