FUNDING FOR FISCAL YEAR 2011 -2012
From Finance Director Nancy E. Crawford, dated February 7, 2011, submitting the qualifying
applications from nonprofit organizations pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 25, Hawaii County
Code, for the Council's review and appropriation of funds for inclusion in the Operating
Budget for Fiscal Year 2011 -2012. Sixty (60) organizations have submitted applications
for 92 programs, totaling $3,227,650.92. Attaches a list of organizations, the program titles,
and amounts requested.

Comm. 94.2: REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF NON-PROFIT GRANT AD HOC
COMMITTEE
From Councilmember Angel Pilago, dated April 4, 2011, submitting recommendations for the
FY 2011-2012 Appropriations for Grants to Nonprofit Organizations. A total of ninety-two
(92) eligible program applications were received. This is an increase of three (3) applications
from last fiscal year. The amount requested for this year totaled $3,227,650.92. The
preliminary budget appropriation for this fiscal year is $1,500,000.
