Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred
Resolution 47 -11, reports as follows:
Resolution 47 -11, transmitted by Assistant Corporation Counsel Katherine A. Garson, via
Communication No. 138, dated March 15, 2011, requests the acceptance of the dedication
of Road Lots A and B, being a portion of TMK: (3)6 -4- 017:040, situate at Pu'ukapu
Homesteads, Second Series, Waimea, District of South Kohala, County and State of Hawai`i
from Alan Z. Inaba, Gordon Inaba, Jason K. Inaba and Melvin K. Inaba.
Council Chair Yagong commented in the support of this resolution and reminded Your
Committee that Communication No. 138 includes approval letters from the various departments
concerned and that the road lots meet all required county standards. There were no public
testifiers.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13 -12, Hawai`i County Charter, the Council may accept gifts,
which include the dedication of land, on behalf of the County of Hawai`i.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Resolution No. 47 -11, and recommends its adoption.
