Crawford, dated February 7, 2011, submitting the qualifying applications from nonprofit organizations pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 25, Hawaii County Code, for the Council's review and appropriation of funds for inclusion in the Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2011 -2012. Sixty (60) organizations have submitted applications for 92 programs, totaling $3,227,650.92. Attaches a list of organizations, the program titles, and amounts requested. Postponed: March 1, 2011 Postponed: April 19, 2011 (Note: There is a pending motion made by Mr. Yagong duly seconded by Mr. Onishi to close file on Comm. 94.) Comm. 94.2: REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF NON - PROFIT GRANT AD HOC COMMITTEE From Councilmember Angel Pilago, dated April 4, 2011, submitting recommendations for the FY 2011 -2012 Appropriations for Grants to Nonprofit Organizations. A total of ninety -two (92) eligible program applications were received. This is an increase of three (3) applications from last fiscal year. The amount requested for this year totaled $3,227,650.92. The preliminary budget appropriation for this fiscal year is $1,500,000. Postponed: April 19, 2011 ADJOURNMENT The meeting place is accessible for persons with disabilities. Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes (hereinafter "HRS ") §92 -3.5, the Hawaii County Council will be conducting this Committee meeting via videoconference. Councilmembers will be present at the following locations: • Kona Council Chambers, West Hawaii Civic Center, 74 -5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building A; • Hilo Council Chambers, Hawaii County Building, 25 Aupuni Street, First Floor, Suite 1401. Public Attendance Via Videoconferencing is available at the locations above and at the Waimea Council Office at the Holomua Center, 64 -1067 Mamalahoa Highway, Suite 5 until 4:30 p.m., or later in the event public witness testimony has not been completed. If audio stream between Kona and Hilo is lost for more than a short period of time, the meeting will be terminated.
