Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 62 -11, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 62 -11, transmitted by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford, via
Communication No. 166, dated April 6, 2011, authorizes the acceptance a monetary donation of
$75 to the Department of Parks and Recreation to Support the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo and
Gardens.
Pursuant to Article XIII Section 13 -12, Hawai'i County Charter the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of money.
A letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution will be sent to donor Mr. Richard J. Robbin,
Trustee, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #3642, 16 -111 Opukahaia Street, Kea'au, Hawai`i
96749, acknowledging this generous donation.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 62 -11,
and recommends its adoption.
