ending June 30, 2001. The amendment is as follows:

The State Department of the Attorney General Crime Prevention and Justice Assistance Division
is providing additional funding to improve and increase police - community partnerships in crime
prevention programs and problem solving.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 290 and
recommends it pass first reading.
