Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 299, reports as follows:
Bill No. 299, transmitted by Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication No. 875,
dated July 26, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 00-64, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2001, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION:
County Swimming Pools-Circulation 110-599-5599.37-115 $100,000
System Improvements
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund- $100,000
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
Funds will be used to determine the most feasible method of disinfecting County swimming
pools, and to design and modify the existing circulation systems.
For informational purposes, Mr. Tyler voted kanalua twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 299 and
recommends it pass first reading.
