SUBJECT: Transmitting a Resolution Directing that the Chief of Police of the
Hawai`i County Police Department Shall Equip Every Patrol and CID
Officer with a Portable Radio and Individual Charger and Establish a
"Take Home" Policy and Appropriate Rules and Regulations for the
Issuance, Maintenance, Supply, and Repair of Such Equipment
Attached is a resolution that the Chief of Police shall equip every Officer with a portable radio
and individual charger and establish a "take home" policy and appropriate rules and regulations
for the issuance, maintenance, supply and repair of such equipment.
Please place this item on the May 31, 2011 Council Committee agenda. Thank you.
