FC -11 Page 3 May 31, 2011 Comm. 215: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, ARTICLE 3, OF THE HAWAII (Bill 54) COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS BY ASSESSMENTS From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated May 16, 2011. The purpose of this bill is to improve efficiency and reduce costs by allowing additional options in tax assessment frequency contained in Section 12 -34, and by amending the default criteria contained in Section 12 -40, which would allow for consolidation of delinquencies for foreclosure proceedings when it is in the best interest of the County. Comm. 216: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, ARTICLE 1, 2, AND 5 OF THE (Bill 55) HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO IMPROVEMENTS BY ASSESSMENTS From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated May 17, 2011. This bill amends several sections of Chapter 12 in order to align and coordinate responsibilities and involvement of various County departments with respect to improvement districts, and includes clarification and revision to certain provisions accordingly.
