Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 300, reports as follows:
Bill No. 300, transmitted by Director of Finance Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication No. 880,
dated August 4, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 00-64, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2001, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION:
Hawaiian Beaches Athletic Field 110-599-5590.29-115 $250,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund- $250,000
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
Funds will be used to develop amulti-purpose athletic field in the lower Puna district.
For informational purposes, Mr. Tyler voted kanalua then no, and Ms. Pisicchio voted kanalua
twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 300 and
recommends it pass first reading.
