SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 42 -11, Draft 2; Establishment of a
Sister -City Relationship with Kumejima, Okinawa, Japan
Please find attached Resolution No. 42 -11, Draft 2, which incorporate amendments contained in
Communication 105.4 that were duly approved at the May 17, 2011, Special Meeting of the
Hawai`i County Council.
Due to the time - sensitive nature of events related to the establishment of a Sister -City
relationship with Kumejima, the Council suspended its rule to holdover Resolution No. 42 -11,
Draft 2, and subsequently adopted the resolution.
