SUBJECT: Transmit Resolution No. 82 -11, Draft 2; Authorizing the Mayor to Enter into an
Agreement to Subgrant with the State of Hawai`i, Board of Land and Natural
Resources, and to Accept Funds for the Acquisition of Kawa, District of Ka`u,
Island of Hawai`i.
Attached please find Resolution No. 82 -11, Draft 2, which incorporates those amendments
contained in Communication 222.1 that were duly approved at the June 1, 2011, Council
Meeting.
The Council suspended its rule requiring that bills and resolutions up for final reading that are
amended be held over until the next regular meeting (Rule 25 (e)), and subsequently adopted
Resolution No. 82 -11, Draft 2.
