Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 304, reports as follows:
Bill No. 304, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 311-00 by Director of Finance
Dixie Kaetsu, via Communication No. 886 dated August 9, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 00-63,
as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2001. The amendment is as follows:

The Hawaii Police Department HI-PAL Program received a monetary donation to be used for
any project for which budgetary funding is unavailable from the Hawaii Police Athletic
Federation.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 304 and
recommends it pass first reading.
