AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 97 -82, AS AMENDED, RELATING
TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR JULY 1, 1997 TO JUNE 30, 1998.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 97 -82, as amended, Relating to Public
Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1997 to June 30,
1998, is hereby amended by increasing the following appropriation:
PUBLIC WORKS:
Mamalahoa Highway Improvements
(Kamamalu Street to Lindsey Road) [$3,370,611.66] $5.200.000.00

SECTION 2. Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from:
Federal Grants Receivable $1,829,388.34
SECTION 3. Bracketed material represents the appropriation amount
being amended. Underscored material represents the amended appropriation.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
