We strongly advise you to amend Bill 304 to include the five additional
catagories of single family dwelling impact fees to state smaller square
footages would be charged less total impact fees. How you would arrive
at the total is negociable.
For instance a dwelling of 1,200 square feet to 501 square feet would be
charged a total of $3,300.00 impact fees.
A very small single family dwelling of 500 square feet to the square
footage of an efficiency dwelling square footage would be charged $
3,000.00 total impact fees.
Most people building such small homes could not afford much in the way
of impact fees of $6,387.00.
We understand impact fees must be decieded based on square footage and
not on family income.

Thank you also for Councilman Pete Hoffmann's appearance in Pahoa
recently to expain some of his projections here.
We approve of all of the rest of Bill 304 and believe Impact Fees are a
necessary to asssit in balancing our needs County wide.
