Dear Councllmember's,
I am Mary Begier, a taxpayer of this county. As a businessperson I have had to make
some difficult decisions in the past few years. I doubt that the era of difficult decisions is
over yet.
In times of strife we find ourselves having to think a bit differently. I know 1 find myself
partnering with people and situations that I might not have previously. But when times are
tough is the time to be more open minded. It's the time to set aside some of our
philosophical differences and disagreements.
Please do the same tonight by voting to reconsider Bill 311. I'd be happy to discuss the
various merits of that bill but understand that our purpose here tonight is to agree to
reconsider. Please do so. Thank you for this opportunity to testify.
