Aloha, Hawaii County Council members, and members of the public,
My name is Ted Matsuda and I'm testifying in support of Bill 311. I do
believe that this bill, authorizing the issuance of general obligation bonds is
a good investment in stimulating the local economy with needed jobs.
Remember that jobs reduce unemployment and puts monies circulating back
into our local economy.
It is also a good long -term investment that we will see benefit the County of
Hawaii deliver services more efficiently, provide the local communities with
the needed facilities to keep children off the streets and in organized
activities, and enhance the visitor experience of our beautiful Island.
I ask your consideration in support of this Bill 311.
