Testimony in support of Bond Authorization:
Urge and recommend that you support this subject bill.
Capital improvement projects have proven to be an effective strategy to
creating jobs and improving the economy in addition to providing our
community and taxpayers with the improvements that enhance our quality
of life, especially within the County of Hawaii.
Of special interest is the Kapiolani Street Extension which will be a high
impact project that will support the growth and objectives of our University
of Hawaii at Hilo, which is a major economic engine for the County of
Hawaii.
Again, I humbly ask your support and vote in approving Bill No. 311.
