Aloha,
I support the transfer station in Ocean View. Ocean view is the most densely populated village in Ka'u. It just
makes good sense to have basic services close to where people live to reduce traffic and fuel consumption and
so that citizens can perform more productive tasks than hauling trash. It will also reduces transfer of invasive
species within the district.
Moreover, he unavailability of local transfer station has lead to uncontrollable illegal dumping which detracts
from the entire community in countless ways.
Please support the Ocean View Transfer Station.
