It's a polymer composite micro overlay that addresses problems that <br /> affect asphalt and concrete pavements. It has been used on various projects, it is environmentally <br /> friendly, and already approved by the Environmental Protection Agency. <br /> The application of E -Krete is a product that is worth looking into because of the potential of <br /> extending the life of our roadway system, and possibly saving the County money over the long run. <br /> This presentation will be educational for the general public and the County Council, and would help <br /> us determine if the County should pursue utilizing this application on public road projects. <br /> Please refer this communication to the appropriate committee for the scheduled meetings on <br /> July 6, 2011. <br /> DY /la <br /> Comm.
