Re: Presentation on E -Krete by Mr. Robert Acasio and Mr. Greg Lee
By way of this communication, I am requesting a 30- minute power point and video presentation on a
pavement preservation product. It's a polymer composite micro overlay that addresses problems that
affect asphalt and concrete pavements. It has been used on various projects, it is environmentally
friendly, and already approved by the Environmental Protection Agency.
The application of E -Krete is a product that is worth looking into because of the potential of
extending the life of our roadway system, and possibly saving the County money over the long run.
This presentation will be educational for the general public and the County Council, and would help
us determine if the County should pursue utilizing this application on public road projects.
Please refer this communication to the appropriate committee for the scheduled meetings on
July 6, 2011.
