Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation three Alpacas named Sara, Ginger and
Hooch, whose total estimated value is $30,000 to the Department of Parks and
Recreation for use at the petting zoo in the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo and Gardens. This
donation is from Tess and Dave Wilkinson, owners of Big Island Alpaca Farm, P. 0. Box
808, Na`alehu, HI 96772.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS
NEEDED):
Tess & Dave Wilkinson, owners of Big Island Alpaca Farm would like to donate three
(3) Alpacas to the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens for the petting zoo, public
display and education.
This donation has an estimated value of $30,000 and will be a wonderful addition to the
petting zoo. The Alpacas, Coffee Rock's Saratoga (Sara), White Ginger (Ginger) and
Hoochy - Coochy Man (Hooch), will join our Llama, Pot - Bellied Pig, Miniature Goats
and Miniature Horse who are all current celebrities at the popular petting zoo.
