Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a monetary donation of $5,000 from an anonymous
source. This money will be used by the Department of Parks and Recreation to support
the Big Island Basketball Officiating Clinic by providing the funds to the Big Island
Basketball Officials Association for travel expenses of the trainers of the clinic.

To accept and acknowledge an anonymous donation of $5,000 donation.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS
NEEDED):
The recreation division received an anonymous donation to help support the Big Island
Basketball Officiating Clinic. The clinic is co- sponsored by the County of Hawaii, HI-
Pal. and the Big Island Basketball Officials Association. Funds are to be paid to the Big
Island Basketball Officials Association for travel expenses of the trainers of the clinic.
