Subject: Open Space Network Testiimony
Aloha mai kakou,
I urge you to pass the funding of an Open Space Network for the Kona region. The Kona Community
Development Plan (KCDP) calls for the identification and protection of green and open spaces in and around
healthy communities. To begin working toward this legally- mandated goal, funding must be allotted in this
year's County budget (Bill 30) so that the process of building healthy communities can begin.
