Hope all of you take this to heart - stop penalizing the responsible people
once and for all....enough is enough...educate the irresponsible instead

Bag ban
Legislating against irresponsibility is wrong It seems that some of our
esteemed County Council members lack any constructive imagination and can
only solve a problem by copying another jurisdiction by imposing another
prohibitive law. The "plastic bag ban" is such a disa ppointment.
Imposing this law on the public is telling us that we are too stupid to
willingly make minor adjustments in our lifestyle to retain the convenience
of the plastic bag. The fact that Maui and Kauai have the prohibitive law is
not sufficient reason to impose such a law on us.
