This will provide funds to the Big Island Basketball Officials Association for travel expenses of the trainers of the clinic. Recommends adoption of Res. 89-11. Comm. 245: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MONETARY (Res. 90-11) DONATION OF $500 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION TO SUPPORT THE SUMMER FUN PROGRAM AT THE PA‘AUILO GYM From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated June 22, 2011, requesting the acceptance of the donation of $500 from the Pa‘auilo Camp Community Association. This money will supplement program fees for the Summer Fun program, which provides activities and excursions for children in grades one through six. Recommends adoption of Res. 90-11. Comm. 248: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE DONATION OF A (Res. 93-11) SCENT TRACKING DOG FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE MISSING CHILD CENTER-HAWAI‘I, FOR USE IN LOCATING MISSING CHILDREN From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated June 22, 2011. The donation of a black Labrador search dog has an estimated value of $4,500. Recommends adoption of Res. 93-11. Ayes: Committee Members Blas, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Onishi, Smart, Yagong, Yoshimoto and Chair Ford. Noes: None. Absent: Committee Member Pilago. Comm. 249: AN ORDINANCE FOR TERMINATION OF IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 17, (Bill 64) CANCELLATION OF ASSESSMENT INSTALLMENTS, AND DISTRIBUTION OF REFUNDS FOR COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 17 (KALOKO SUBDIVISION) From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated June 20, 2011. The above bill authorizes the Director of Finance to terminate the district and to provide for the disposition of cash remaining in the ID Assessment Fund and closure of the Fund.
