Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred
Resolution 86-11, reports as follows:
Resolution 86-11, transmitted via Communication No. 233, from Assistant Corporation Counsel
Katherine A. Garson dated June 2, 2011, requests acceptance of the donation of Lot 20-C,
situated at Kaiwiki 3`d, District of South Hilo, County and State of Hawai`i, being a portion of
Tax Map Key: (3) 2-9-004:020, from Amy L. Dunn.
The resolution transfers an encroachment donated as part of the agreement between the County
and the lot owners in the Hakalau Homestead Road Association for improvements on the
Hakalau Homestead Road.
Council Chair Yagong urged committee members' support for this donation.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Resolution No. 86-11, and recommends its adoption.
