Re: Resolution to amend resolution for multi -year lease
Enclosed is a resolution amending Resolution 56 -11 that authorized the payment of
funds for more than one fiscal year, for a new multi -year lease agreement, for one (1)
copier for the Department of Human Resources.
Resolution 56 -11 limited both the monthly amount and the per -page amount for excess
pages that could be paid under the lease agreement. With Council's authorization, the
Purchasing Division proceeded with competitive procurement. The resulting low bid
includes per -page amounts above that identified in the resolution by $0.0005 for black
and white and $0.003 for color.
At the department's request we have drafted the enclosed resolution to increase the
referenced amounts to match the bid amount. The procurement will be held pending
Council approval of the amended resolution.
