RESOLUTION NO. 104 11
RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 56 -11 BY INCREASING
THE PER PAGE COST CAP FOR A MULTI YEAR LEASE FOR ONE (1)
COPIER FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 56 -11 adopted by the Hawaii County Council on
May 4, 2011, authorized the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and more than one
fiscal year for the multi -year lease of one (1) copier for the Department of Human
Resources; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 56 -11 authorized the Department of Human
Resources, to enter into a five (5) year copier lease at a cost not to exceed $325 per
month, plus $0.0099 for each black and white copy in excess of the monthly print
allowance, and $0.0790 per color copy; and
WHEREAS, the actual results from the competitive bid process resulted in a low
bid which specifies $295.97 per month, plus $0.0104 for each black and white copy in
excess of the monthly allowance, and $0.082 per color copy; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that this
copier shall be leased for a period of five (5) years at a cost of $295.97 per month, plus
$0.0104 for each black and white copy in excess of the monthly allowance, and $0.082
per color copy.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the
Departments of Finance and Human Resources.
