Re: Capital Budget
The enclosed bill for an ordinance is to add the Waimea Senior Center
Renovations to Ordinance No. 98-50. The County is in the process of acquiring
the former Waimea Courthouse site via an executive order from the State of
Hawaii. The former Department of Human Services building is to be renovated
to accommodate the nutrition program, presently situated in the Edith
Yoshimatsu Senior Center.

Parks & Recreation.

Amendment to Ordinance No. 98-50 entitled Waimea Senior Center Renovations

An appropriation of $50,000 is required to undertaken building renovations
to accommodate the e;epansion of the Elderly Activities Division nutrition
program in South Kohala.
The County is in the process of acquiring the former Waimea courthouse
site via an e;cecutive order from the State of Hawaii. The former I~part-
ment of Hunan Services building is proposed to be renovated to accommodate
the County's nutrition program, which is presently situated in the Edith
Yoshimatsu Senior Center.
