RESOLUTION NO. 116 11
STATE OF HAWAII
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL
REPRESENTATIVE AND ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE WESTERN
INTERSTATE REGION (WIR), NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES (NACo),
ON BEHALF OF THE HAWAII STATE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES.
WHEREAS, the Hawai`i State Association of Counties (HSAC) has designated Hawai`i
County to fill one of two seats for the position of WIR Director; and
WHEREAS, HSAC further requests that this council designate an alternate to the
member serving as a WIR Director; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Council Vice Chair K. Angel Pilago and Council Member Brittany Smart are hereby designated
WIR Director and Alternate WIR Director, respectively, to represent the Hawai`i State
Association of Counties effective upon adoption of this resolution through June 30, 2012.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall be transmitted by the
County Clerk to the President and Secretary of the Hawai`i State Association of Counties.
