Comm. 283: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I
(Bill 77) TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR A STATE
WATER POLLUTION CONTROL REVOLVING FUND LOAN FOR WASTEWATER
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS; AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
$9,200,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR
THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING QUALIFIED WASTEWATER PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I
From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated July 21, 2011. The State Water Pollution
Control Revolving Fund Loan Program will be available for the Kalaniana‘ole Interceptor
Sewer Rehabilitation Phase II, which involves rehabilitation of the severely deteriorated
Kalaniana‘ole Intercepter between Kea‘a Street and the Pua Sewage Pump Station; and
for the Kalaniana‘ole and Papaikou dewatering project, which will replace the existing
dewatering units.
Comm. 284: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MONETARY
(Res. 110-11) DONATION OF $1,200 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT RICHARDSON OCEAN PARK
From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated July 21, 2011, requesting the acceptance
of the donation of $1,200 from Frank and Michal Zimring. This will provide funds to
install a six foot bench and for other improvements at Richardson Ocean Park.

(Res. 111-11) DONATION OF $500 TO THE HAWAI‘I POLICE DEPARTMENT TO BE USED TO
PURCHASE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR THE NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
EVENT

of the donation of $500 from Target. This will provide funds for the Hawai‘i Police
Department to purchase equipment and supplies for the National Night Out event on
August 2, 2011; and

OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR

DEPARTMENT PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING’S WEIGHT ROOM

at $5,800, and is being donated to the Police Department by an anonymous source.
