SUBJECT: Transmittal of an ordinance to amend Hawai'i County Code,
Chapter 11, to change the in lieu fee provision, further
clarify satisfaction provisions, and address other
housekeeping issues recommended for approval by the HCHA
on July 21, 2011.
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted an
Ordinance to amend Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 11, to change the in
lieu fee provision, further clarify satisfaction provisions, and
address other housekeeping issues to the Hawai'i County Housing Agency
and received approval on July 21, 2011. The votes for the Ordinance
are as follows:
AYES: J. Yoshimoto, B. Ford, P. Hoffmann, B. Smart, F.
Blas, A. Pilago, D. Yagong -- 7
NOES:None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: D. Ikeda, D. Onishi -- 2
Accordingly, I am requesting that the Ordinance be included on the
Council agenda for action at its August 17, 2011 meeting.
