SUBJECT: Transmittal of a Resolution authorizing a zoning pre-
emption for a low- income housing program to be
provided by HOPE Services Hawai'i, Inc. recommended
for approval by the HCHA on August 2, 2011.
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
a Resolution authorizing a zoning pre - emption for a low- income
housing program to be provided by HOPE Services Hawai'i, Inc.
Hawai'i County Housing Agency received approval on August 2,
2011. The votes for the Resolution are as follows:
AYES: D. Ikeda, J. Yoshimoto, P. Hoffmann, B. Smart, F.
Blas, A. Pilago, D. Yagong -- 7
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: B. Ford, D. Onishi -- 2
Accordingly, I am requesting that the Resolution be included on
the Council agenda for action at its August 17, 2011 meeting.
