Sako Deputy Director c.- cD On October 7, 2009, Resolution No. 234 -09 was passed in order to allow the County to accept monies from the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant, whose funds are derived from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The County of Hawaii has been awarded $8,892 in additional VOCA ARRA funds from the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General. These funds are provided in order to continue to provide assistance to victims of felony and misdemeanor violent crimes. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the FY2011 -12 Operating Budget by appropriating these funds into the Victims of Crime Act -ARRA account.
