Upon further research we have determined that Parcel 83 is landlocked; however, mauka -makai and lateral access is present a few lots to the south. It may be beneficial for the County to obtain the property, despite the lack of access, in order to conserve /protect the shorel ine. This parcel is what we are seeking to acquire for our Ali`i Drive Culvert Replacement project. 2. The parcel is presently within Flood Zone VE and AE Floodway, as determined by the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map. TMK: 7 -6 -017: 083 1. The subject parcel appears to be landlocked. We need to verify, in the deed, if legal access to Ali`i Drive exists. 2. The parcel is presently within Flood Zone VE, as determined by the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map. The Department of Water Supply has no objections to the proposed donation, however please be informed that there is no water service to the subject parcels. Water can be made available from an existing 8 -inch waterline for Parcel 83 and existing 6 -inch or 8 -inch waterlines for Parcel 25 along Ali`i Drive. However, Parcel 83 would only be allowed one (1) unit of water as this parcel does not front on the Department's existing waterline. One (1) unit of water is equivalent to an average of 400 gallons per day, which is the estimated average daily usage of a single - family dwelling.
