Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 110-11, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 110-11, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via
Communication No. 284, dated July 21, 2011, authorizes the acceptance of a monetary donation
of$1,200 from Frank and Michal Zimring. These funds will be used by the Department of Parks
and Recreation to install a 6-foot bench and other park improvements at Richardson Ocean Park.
A letter of appreciation and copy of this resolution will be sent to: Frank and Michal Zimring,
40 Arlmont Drive, Kensington, CA 94707.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter the Council, on behalf of the
County, may accept gifts or donations of money.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 110-11,
and recommends its adoption.
