I suppose I am a bit perplexed by the upcoming Bill and the council members that are in support of this
adjustment, once again by a sitting council, on a referendum that was clearly mandated not once in the
original 2006 but again when that was changed by the prior council.
A number of the current council members, including the one representing my district, were very clear
during their campaign for council on their willingness not only to support a full 2% going into the fund
but in insuring all that they would vote for this to occur.
Now I read, that this council is about to take steps to once again interfere with the vote of a large
majority of the voting public.
I would ask that this Bill be defeated, and the land fund be funded at the total 2% as was the will of the
people and was the commitment a majority of you made prior to being elected.
