Comm. 300: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 11-59, AS AMENDED, THE (Bill 81) OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2012 From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated August 3, 2011. The bill appropriates revenues of $8,892 in the Federal Grants - Victims of Crime Act - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act account; and appropriates same to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Victim of Crime Act - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act account. These funds, derived through the State of Hawai‘i Department of the Attorney General, are provided in order to continue to provide assistance to victims of felony and misdemeanor violent crimes. Recommends passage of Bill 81 on first reading: Ayes: Committee Members Blas, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Onishi, Pilago, Smart, Yagong, Yoshimoto and Chair Ford. Noes: None. Absent: None.
