The bill appropriates revenues of $8,892 in the Federal Grants - Victims of Crime Act - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act account; and appropriates same to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Victim of Crime Act - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act account. These funds, derived through the State of Hawai‘i Department of the Attorney General, are provided in order to continue to provide assistance to victims of felony and misdemeanor violent crimes.
