On October 20, 2010 six council members -- Blas, Smart, Ford,
Yagong, Pilago and Hoffmann said:
" I pledge to honor the voters of Hawaii County who voted for the
2% Land Fund ordinance in 2006 to deposit 2% of our property
taxes in an open space fund. I will support resuming the deposits to
the 2% Open Space Fund in 2011 and I will make sure that deposits
are not suspended again."
Vote NO to Bill 63. Keep your pledge.
