Annual Status Report
Change of Zone Ordinance No. 96-60

This is to provide you with the annual status report Towne Development of Hawaii, Inc.'s
(Towne) activities in compliance with the various conditions of Ordinance No. 96-60. For
your information, since the adoption of this Ordinance, Towne has transferred ownership of
the property to Towne-Kona Limited Partnership, whose general partner is a wholly owned
subsidiary of Towne Development of Hawaii, Inc.
For your information, Towne has been involved in the entitlement of an 14.013 acre area
immediately to the north of the subject property. This area received its final approval for a
change of zone to Single Family Residential -15,000 square feet (RS-15) on March 13, 1997
as Ordinance No. 97-42. Towne intends to incorporate this area as part of it proposed
Keauhou View Estates project (subject area).
With the completion of the zoning process, Towne is proceeding with the development of the
subject property in accordance with the conditions of approval of Ordinance No. 96-60.
The following is a summary of the conditions of Ordinance No. 96-60 and a description of
Towne's actions or understanding of them.
