Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to submit the nomination of Earl T. Eckart of Kona to the Hawaii
County Liquor Commission to replace Tsuyoki Nakashima of Kona, whose term
will expire on December 31, 1998.
Mr. Eckart is a lifetime resident of Hawaii, and since 1988 has been a parent
facilitator with the State of Hawaii, Department of Education. Mr. Eckart states
that he has no political party affiliation.
If approved, Mr. Eckart will serve a term to end December 31, 2003. Should the
Council need further information regarding this nomination, you may call me at
your convenience.
