The HATF is a joint venture between the Hawai‘i Police Department and the DEA. Authorizes the Director of Finance to allow Mana Christian Ohana to pay the minimum tax of $50 allowed by exemption for nonprofit entities and to reimburse the remaining balance of the $5,620.62 collected from the Church for tax year 2011. FC-17 Page 3 September 7, 2011 Comm. 327: AN ORDINANCE TO INITIATE A CHARTER AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE X, (Bill 87) FINANCIAL PROCEDURES, SECTION 10-15, OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CHARTER (2010 EDITION), REGARDING THE PUBLIC ACCESS, OPEN SPACE, AND NATURAL RESOURCES PRESERVATION FUND From Council Member Brenda Ford, dated August 24, 2011. Removes the appropriation of one percent of the capital program to the fund, and increases the appropriation from the real property tax revenues from one to two percent. Also adds provisions for prohibition of development on land purchased for open space, for leveraging money by attracting matching funds, and attaching restrictive covenants to the recorded deed for parcels purchased with the funds.
