I have not purchased a plastic trash bag in years, I always reuse the plastic bags from the supermarkets. I use them for many things, and I also reuse those for the cat litter. I have saved lots of money this way during the years. If the plastic bag ban became a law, it will not reduce the number of bags in the landfills. I still will have the same amount of trash that I will have to buy plastic bags for. I also will have to buy smaller plastic bags for the cat litter, since that can't be kept under the sink for days without separating it from the trash. As you can see, my household will use the same number of plastic bags regardless, except it will cost me money to buy those bags. I sincerely hope you will vote against the plastic bag ban and shelf it for good. Robert Smith of Kona was more blunt when he said "Don't you have more important things to do with than a plastic bag ban ?" and I agree with him. John S. Rabi P.O.
