ABC Stores strongly opposes this request to rescind the motion for public hearings on Bill 17,
Draft 2, Relating to Plastic Bag Reduction. We believe citizens should have the right to
participate at public hearings to comment on the issues presented, in this case, the ban on the use
of plastic bags.
